Next week, I’ll be sticking with soft, cozy sweaters and jeans for Thanksgiving, and IF I venture out for Black Friday (and that’s a big if), I’ll pull on my over-the-knee boots and top my look with a vest. Seriously, layer, layer, layer is my mode operandi for this tricky time in between fall and winter!
Experimenting with red and green, and how different shades can be paired to create a non-holiday look!
What to do, what to do when it’s pushing 70 in the middle of December, but you want to stay festive? Break out the shorts…The tweed shorts.
Ohhh, plaid–The holidays aren’t nearly as festive without plaid! And it’s no secret that I collect plaid like it’s going out of style, it’s almost a daily staple in my fall and winter wardrobe. #sorrynotsorry
Today’s outfit is perfect for a casual holiday get-together with family or friends. A comfy pair of denim, paired with a festive button down, layered with a vest, and of course bright pops of Christmas red (my other obsession this season)!
I am very thankful that I have the rest of the week off this week, it’s one of the many perks of being a teacher! If you haven’t checked out the blog in awhile, be sure to take a peek at yesterday’s post–lots of sparkly holiday inspo for you!
Happy Thanksgiving Week, friends!
Cannot believe Thanksgiving is already upon us, and that Christmas is right around the corner. Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be sharing with you some holiday looks to help get you inspired this festive season. Lots of sparkles, plaid, and red to follow!
Sequins are always a classic holiday staple, whether it be for Christmas or New Year’s, I cannot resist having something sparkly in my outfit.
