Sooo, you know how last week I mentioned that I couldn’t get enough of blue and white together? Well, my other obsession just happens to be the IT-color of the moment; blush. Even before this shade of pink was (one of) the Pantone 2016 Color of the Year, if I saw it, I probably added it to my closet.
And oh, how many blush items I’ve added to my closet, recently!
Tunic: J.Crew | Denim: J.Crew | Handbag: Louis Vuitton Neverfull (on sale here) | Sandals: Steve Madden Neptune Booties | Pearls: amazing Christmas gift from boutique in Germany, similar here | Sunglasses: Oscar de la Renta via DITTO (50% off!)
Oh, stripes, I can’t get enough of you! I mean, have you seen my Instagram feed, lately?? I would say that stripes are currently having a moment, in my wardrobe, but let me be honest–when are they not?
They are, without a doubt, the easiest pattern with which to pattern mix, and instantly transform a plain ol’ blue shirt into something interesting.
(Ok, gingham does that, too, but I promise to pay homage to gingham in another post!)

I am starting to break out all my spring necessities, as of late–other than random days here and there of cold temps, Cincinnati has started transitioning to warmer weather!
And this Spring Fever has me stocking up on pieces, left and right. If you want to see what I’ve been adding to my closet, check out my recent purchases under the “Shop” tab above!
Now, I didn’t really need to add this striped tunic to my closet but I mean, you really can’t have too many stripes in your closet, amiright??

So this weather we’ve been having lately has been AH-mazing!! Upper 50s and 60s, (mostly) sunny–Such a welcome relief from the rainy/grey winter! M, Lilly and I have really made good use of our weekends, these last couple weeks, and have taken quite a few walks either on the walking trail close to our house, or through some of the other townships here in Cincinnati (I post quite a bit on my Instagram stories!).
Since we’ve made long walks a part of our normal routine, it gave me a good excuse to try out the sneaker trend that’s been popular the last couple of years…And as a (new) mom who is on the go, often with a baby and gear in tow, running around in pumps isn’t always practical (major props to you mamas who do!).
So when I saw this blush quilted pair at Target, I knew they had to come home with me! 😀 I actually didn’t know until after I posted them on my Instagram stories and someone told me that they were a copy of the sneakers by Steve Madden—and HALF the price!! Read More

So many of you have been expressing interest in my “bump”/maternity style, and I thought I’d give you a peek into what I’ve been wearing lately! Right now, I’m in that awkward phase of not-quite-big enough to wear maternity clothes, but also growing out of more than half of my spring & summer wardrobe. Both a sweet and annoying problem to have ;).
