Speaking of NSALE, don’t forget if you’re a cardholder, THIS THURSDAY you can begin to shop the sale! I got an exclusive sneak peek at the full catalogue of items, and I want to be honest with you all; I’m not as excited about the sale as I was last year. Yes, there will still be LOTS of great pieces that will be released and I plan to snag a few (I’m looking at you, Tory Burch riding boots!!), but there just aren’t as many basics as I was hoping for.

Summer is here, you all! (Well, tomorrow, officially, but #details). Which means the heat and humidity are already out in full force…yay. All last summer, I was preggo, which if you are currently pregnant and going through the summer, all of my prayers and good thoughts are being sent your way–it is MISERABLE!! I did find a few ways to stay cool, AND #bonuspoints to me for being stylish as well (you can check out this post—dang, I was tan!!), but now I’m trying to survive the heat with a baby in tow.
As in, I have a crawling, cruising, climbing, laughing, wiggly, bouncy baby girl who loves to explore, so my Mom Uniform game has to be stroooong! 😀 Read More
Happy Monday, lovely ladies!
I have been on a MAJOR gingham kick, lately, adding pieces left and right to my closet. Who am I kidding, I have always been
obsessed in love with gingham! It’s such a classy, timeless print and no matter what your personal style may be, you can make it your own. Let’s take a look at the pieces pictured above!
-This hot pink gingham popover is lightweight, and the slight crinkling gives it a laid-back vibe–no need to worry about looking messed up while wrangling a baby! 😀 Pair it with white or blue denim, and you won’t be disappointed.
-This off the shoulder gingham dress is probably my favorite summer purchase TO DATE. I saw a similar dress on Pinterest, and I searched around for weeks, trying to find it—and then SheIn got it in stock two weeks ago, and I died. Did I mention that it’s only $16? And it has bows on the shoulders…#sold I ordered an XS, and it fits perfectly. Also, how perfectly preppy is this shirtdress?
-Next on my must-have gingham list is this cute navy gingham dress that combines some of my favorite trends this summer–gingham and ruffles. Breathable cotton and loose-fitting, I love easy dresses I can throw on with a cute pair of flats for the summer! Speaking of navy gingham, I have my eye on this navy gingham romper. Should I pull the trigger??
-I clearly have a thing for sky-blue gingham! This sleeveless blouse is actually from J.Crew Factory a couple seasons ago, but it still remains a spring and summer staple. I LOVE this cold shoulder ruffled top, I just might have to add it to my closet! Also, this ruffled hem tank is adorable, too.
-Ok, maybe I have a thing for pink gingham, as well. Again, this popover is from a couple seasons ago, (here is an almost identical one) and I’ve worn this top through all seasons. Light pink pairs so well with a broad range of color. And speaking of pastel pink, this off-the-shoulder dress and OTS top are both on my wishlist!
I’ve also rounded up some of my favorite pieces and looks from the last couple of years–It was so hard to choose just a few, because really, gingham is SUCH a closet staple for me!
Keep reading to see some of my favorite gingham dresses, shirts, accessories, and more, and don’t forget to check out the GIVEAWAY below!! =)

I know I’ve been rather absent, these last couple of months, and it has been one long bumpy ride on the Struggle Bus, yo!
A combination of life events and lack of inspiration, I would dread writing posts or putting outfits together. Something I use to enjoy had started feeling like a chore, at best, and a measure of what I wasn’t doing right, at worst.
I knew I couldn’t keep going while feeling this way, and while I couldn’t help all of the things that were happening in my life, I COULD do some things to recharge my creativity!
SheIn Off the Shoulder Dress, c/o | Tory Burch Amanda Logo Clutch, similar | J.Crew Factory Pearls | Sandals (old), similar here | Prada sunglasses | Christian Paul Watch in ‘Whitehaven Marble’, c/o | MAC in ‘Ruby Woo’ | Similar chandelier earrings
Happy Labor Day Weekend, friends!
I hope you all have a restful/fun-packed weekend ahead of you–I will be taking it easy, probably doing some more organizing of baby stuff (I still haven’t put away our gifts from the shower last weekend!), more than likely Netflix will be involved…the usual :).
I still can’t believe it’s September already!! We’ve all been wishing summer away at this point, but one thing I’m going to miss is off-the-shoulder dresses. I know many of us fell in LOVE with this trend (not to mention ruffles!), so this is definitely a trend I’d love to keep going through the fall. What do you all think, would you like to see off-the-shoulder pieces stick around for a little while longer?
Want to know another awesome perk to the Lilly Pulitzer Sale (as if we needed any more perks!)? FREE shipping!! And with even more fantastic new arrivals this morning, you don’t have to feel bad for making a second order. And let me tell you, today’s arrivals are probably my favorite!
