You guys, gingham is my spirit pattern. Stripes are right up there with gingham as my most-worn, year-round favorite patterns to wear, and of course plaid is my fall spirit pattern…But seriously, you guys, I need an intervention!!
I have sooo many gingham pieces in my closet, and I have SOOO many summer gingham favorites that are sitting in my virtual shopping carts, just waiting for me to pull the trigger. I have this dress in both the short ruffle sleeves and in the bell sleeves for fall (both are, sadly, sold out), BUT I am currently eyeing this ruffled dress and this tasseled one, too! Aaaand even though the price is on the outer limits of my budget, I have nothing but heart eyes for this adorable pink gingham shirt dress!!
I wear my navy gingham and pink gingham button downs all the time, along with my favorite gingham pieces from Elizabeth Wilson Designs (waiting for this dress and matching dress for Lilly to arrive!!), but I don’t know how much longer I will be able to resist this one-shoulder gingham top or this mint gingham popover (and it would be bump-friendly, too!).
But if I had to pick just one summer-y gingham piece to purchase, it would be this embroidered mint gingham dress by Draper James. Look at the ruffled sleeves!! It would be bump-friendly, lightweight and breathable (perfect for summer), and it’s something I know I would get a lot of wear out of. UGH, still gotta convince the hubs that it’s worth the splurge.

Would I be weird if I wore gingham every day for 30 days straight?? Because I am seriously considering taking the challenge, JUST to get it out of my system. Would anyone care to join me?
