Happy Weekend, lovelies!
I hope you all enjoyed the surprise 50% off sale at J.Crew Factory that began yesterday. I’m excited to hear about the goodies you indulged in!
Today, I am feeling rather bright and cheery, so I thought I’d kick off the weekend with my bright colors! I know lately I have been solely devoted to fall colors with dark shades of mustard, hunter green, etc., but with the temperatures inching back up close to 80, I wanted to give my bright colors one last hoorah before they are completely retired for the season. Ok, so maybe I won’t really pack them away completely, but they definitely won’t be making as much of an appearance. Pahh, who am I kidding? I’ll be rockin’ these coral jeans all fall and winter long!
I am SUPER excited that it’s the weekend, my sister is coming into town to visit, and we get to talk about WEDDING planning because she got engaged a couple of weeks ago!!! EEEEEK, I CAN’T BELIEVE SHE’S GETTING MARRIED!!!! SO, as you can imagine, I had so much fun planning my own wedding that I cannot wait to help plan another one. My husband will be in his workshop for most of this time.
Anywho, wedding talk, Keeneland, sister time…Ooo, Keeneland is happening! Yes folks, here in the Bluegrass it is horse racing season once again, and I am really excited to battend! The weather will be perfect, no chance of rain, and not too chilly. Oh, and did I mention that I am currently on fall break and that I have already done the laundry and my housecleaning for the week? Oh yes, this girl is on a roll, and I intend on making the most of my free weekend!

I definitely took advantage of the J.crew sale yesterday and purchased a trench coat I've been eyeing up for all eternity. Love this look!! I can't stand the thought of putting my brights away for the season. If that's what is right, I have no desire to be right. Love my brightly colored clothing!!
