New Arrivals: J.Crew Factory Picks

Hello, lovelies!
I know I said I wouldn’t make a wishlist because of No Shop September, so today I am just sharing some of my favorites from the new collection that came out at J.Crew Factory!  Currently they are having 30% all new arrivals (prices are already marked), but if you’re a budget fashionista like me, I would recommend waiting for a bigger sale or coupon before diving into the sale (history has shown that there will ALWAYS be a larger sale!).So while I will not be joining in on the new arrivals just yet, you can bet that a few of these pieces will be going on my wishlist!  Darn you, J.Crew Factory for coming out with pieces that I can’t help but need want.

So the top pieces that are actually on my wishlist are the two plaid shirts in Saffron and Navy/Green.  I know I just purchased a navy/gray/green plaid button down from J.Crew Factory during the Labor Day sale, but I don’t think that plaid will be going out of style anytime soon, plus it’s a warm flannel shirt.  Kind of a necessity in the winter time!
Both the tweed and plaid mini skirts I would consider necessities because on a petite person like me, they would actually fit more like a pencil skirt, and would be perfect for work, paired with tights in the cool fall and winter months.
The other items I have here would be really nice to have, but they are not absolute necessities right now.  I am really trying hard to refocus on JUST the absolute necessities.  I do think these pieces are very versatile and will get a lot of wear, and can be worn in at least three different ways, so they do pass a few of the rules I talked about in this post.  
They are such classy pieces, and I am absolutely in love with the colors!  The tulip hem dress could easily be worn with flats, heels, or boots, and would look so cute with colored tights!  The diamond pattern is adorable, too.
The spotted Sequin Tee would be a cute layering piece, depending on where you work, the sequins might make it inappropriate for work, but I could see this being with with skirts, pants, over an oxford shirt, under a blazer, etc.
The jeweled front sweatshirt and button down shirt are hot items this year, with embellishments popping up all over the stores.  If you were eyeing the jewel sweatshirt from the retail J.Crew store but had a hard time with the price, this one is a little more budget-friendly (but have you checked out this one from Forever 21???).
These are some of my other picks from the new collection that I really liked, the colors are right on trend for the fall and winter, and they are pieces I could see myself wearing quite a bit:
