Happy Monday, lovelies!
The hubs and I made it back safely and without delay on Friday, and we were quite sad to leave his family. We had an AMAZING time visiting with them, doing a little sight seeing (and shopping :D), and most of all, relaxing! Both of us really needed this vacation with all that has been going on the past few months, and it was nice to just sit back and do nothing the first few days we were there.
As much as I am dying to get back to blogging, I asked Jordan from Opal & Violet to take over for me today so I could spend the weekend unpacking, restocking the fridge (you all know what that’s like!), aaaand reorganizing my closet. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw that I did a little bit of celebratory shopping for the end of my Closet Remix Challenge. 😀
OH, did I mention that Jordan from Opal & Violet is with us today??? This lady has been a daily read ever since I started my blog, and I was ECSTATIC to discover we that lived in the same city!! Her style is fun and colorful, and very wallet-friendly!

Hi everyone!!
I’m Jordan from Opal & Violet and I’m thrilled to
be filling in for Whitley today as she recovers from
her fabulous vacation! I know she’s so excited to get back to
showing off her fabulous style but for now, I’ve prepared an
outfit post of my own to hold you all over! 😉
I, like Whitley, live in Kentucky.
When we met for the first time over coffee a few months
ago, I wore this J.Crew Factory popover top that I’m so obsessed
with. It’s a little bold and a lot of fun which makes it perfect for
nearly every occasion you can think of! I wore this to dinner a few
nights ago paired with a few perfect brights for just the right amount
of pop! That little ‘pop’ is something that I think you’ll find in most
of my outfits. It’s kind of my signature. Whether it’s a lipstick,
handbag, cardigan, or shoe – I’m almost always adding a punch
of color or print to my outfit to take it from basic to bold!
