Wednesday Wishlist: J.Crew Real vs. Steal

Happy Wednesday, lovelies!
I have had a rather big obsession with statement necklaces these past few months…the number of statement necklaces I had when I first started the blog to now has grown exponentially. Basically when you do the math, I was collecting a statement necklace every to every other week. Wooooah, how does a girl on a budget afford all of those necklaces??? Eh, I had a little help 🙂

Most of you by now have heard me talk about this Etsy store called Bestquality666, and have seen my posts featuring some of her pieces (click back to yesterday’s post for more links). I havequite a few pieces from her shop on my wishlist that have been here for a very long time….aaaand shall remain on my wishlist for a…very…long….time *why did I ever agree to a Closet Remix Challenge*. But the great thing about a wishlist is that it is indeed that, a list of wishes, and no matter how long items remain on a wishlist, it is still fun to think and wish about them. 🙂

Just about every J.Crew lookalike in her Etsy shop is on my wishlist! I don’t want to sound like a broken record, but seriously, this shop is amazing!! So, as promised, here are some of my favorite pieces compared to their real J.Crew counterparts.

Ok, so let’s do the math: Pair of earrings + bracelet + necklace < $130 < retail price of one J.Crew necklace. You can buy three of the most expensive necklaces in her Etsy shop for the price of one J.Crew necklace. Lesson here? If I am crushing something fierce on a J,Crew beauty, I will wait for it to appear on this Etsy store. I thought you fellow budget fashionistas would be happy! 🙂

Not only are they sold out at J.Crew, but you can snatch up every single color (there are 16 in her shop), and STILL not pay the price you would have for the real thing.
