Happy Weekend, lovelies!
Today is Day #4 of my closet remix challenge, and I must say, the only bad thing about it is not being able to shop! I am actually excited to shop my closet every day, trying on things I hadn’t worn in awhile (or at all, like my maxi dress from yesterday’s post). I got caught up in wanting to buy more trendy, cute things to add to my wardrobe when I lost sight of the fact that I already have alot of cute (and trendy) things!
Instead of buying something and creating a new outfit with it and then not wearing it for awhile, I am actually going to get to enjoy wearing my favorite pieces over and over again. I am not ashamed to admit I am an outfit repeater. Like my purse from today’s post? Yeah, that’s on repeat from Tuesday’s post, and if you follow me on Instagram @whitschoop, you’ve seen me carrying this purse quite a bit this week…I can’t get enough of this fabulous neon color or the cute turnkey detail!!
Ever since I saw these Kate Spade heels, it was instant love. Neon is pretty hot this season, and these pointy-toed shoes are drool-worthy! Buuut the price was definitely not-so drool-worthy…So like any good fashionista on a budget, I began searching around. I found a pair from Nine West for a third of the cost, but they still weren’t quite within my budget. Then it occurred to me: Target had that fabulous neon handbag, I wonder if they have matching SHOES…and there they were, pointy toe and all!! For $29.99?? Target does it again. Those shoes were mine! Oh, did I mention that Target also has them in neon pink and blue?
Someone asked me what could be worn with these neon heels…The real answer? Anything! I know, I know, it’s hard to believe that such a flashy shoe could be paired with anything. Jeans, colored denim, black pencil skirt, floral pencil skirt, black shorts, colored shorts, chiffon blouse, button down, t-shirt, you get the idea 
I paired it with shorts, a chiffon blouse, and blazer earlier this week and today I’m styling them a bit more casual. Fridays are jean days at school so I thought this would be a cute but still school appropriate outfit…Although, I probably will trade in the heels for my Sperrys while teaching the kiddos

Ha! I actually just ordered the KS heels today bc they kept stalking me and I was afraid I would regret not getting them one day. Luckily I had some store credit and Nordstrom notes so I only ended up paying $90. w00t! Love your version though, too! Great look!

I love the way you styled the heels!! If I find something expensive I like, I definitely do what you did – search for something cheaper! And I say carry that yellow bag as often as you like – I carry the same bag every single day so I'm definitely not judging!
