Wishlist Wednesday: Jewel Cravings Under $50!

Hello lovelies, and Happy Wednesday!

If you read my post from yesterday or follow me on Instagram, then you saw the new addition to my jewelry collection =).  Statement pieces are definitely a HUGE trend this spring and summer, and I am oh too happy to jump on this one!  Statement pieces, whether they be necklaces, bracelets, rings, or earrings, are great ways to add a “wow” factor to an otherwise plain outfit.  Perfect for dressing up a pair of jeans and a tshirt, or for adding that missing something to an evening outfit, one statement piece is usually all it takes to make an impression.

Up until a month ago, I never really had many (read: any) “wow” pieces that had me looking forward to planning outfits around them.  I was never much of a jewelry person, to be honest.  That is, until this season when shops like Stella & Dot and J.Crew (!!!) started coming out with to-die-for pieces!   Buuut, being a girl on a (limited) budget, I could not indulge in the trend….until now!

My gorgeous statement necklace from yesterday (go ahead and check it out, it’s amazing!!!!) is one that I had obsessed over longed for ever since I saw it on the J.Crew store.  But alas, it was waaaay out of my price range.
One day, I visited Etsy and typed in “Statement Necklaces” for the heck of it…what popped up on the first page???  That’s right, that necklace, along with other amazing J.Crew lookalikes!  And before you know it, stores like Forever 21 and Charlotte Russe, just to name a few, started carrying big statement pieces, and the list of stores offering gorgeous statement pieces at affordable prices keeps growing!

So here you are, my statement jewelry wishlist, all are beautiful statement pieces under $50 in some of this season’s hottest colors…ok, maybe one of them is $68, but it was too pretty to not include.

Translucent Stone Bracelet:  $68 on J.Crew (also comes in mint)

Love Script Bangle:  $6 on Charlotte Russe (comes in red and coral as well)

Julep Bangle:  $19 on Stella & Dot (also comes in ivory, blue, and pink)

Classic Wide Bangle:  $28 on J.Crew, which the website says it’s sold out, but I have seen this in clearance in the store for $20, so it’s worth checking it out!
