So, Wednesday I may have spoken a little too soon about the nice, spring-like weather…..it started snowing at 4pm that afternoon :P. And the temperature dropped to below freezing. Womp womp.
BUT, today and this weekend are supposed to be back up into the 50s and sunny, so let’s keep our fingers crossed that second winter doesn’t show up.
Ok, ladies, you all need to RUN to your local Target and snag this striped shirt! Some of you have already seen it on Instagram, and let me just say that I am QUITE in love with this top! It was really hard to not grab it in four different colors, because I mean, you can NEVER have too many striped shirts, and did I mention that they are only $12??
Thanks to a sweet IG friend who posted this (thanks, Courtney!!), it became apparent that this piece needed to become a wardrobe staple. And a wardrobe staple is exactly what it has become! I am all for shirts that can be worn in at least three different outfits, AND is comfortable on top of that. Many times I steer clear of shirts that aren’t button downs because they tend to be form fitting, and I like my clothes to feel tailored but not skin tight. I was pleasantly surprised when I did no have to size up and that this shirt is SO comfy.
Ok, maybe I really do need to go back and get the navy and mint ones…..#darn
