Ok, remember my Nauti List from yesterday? It was pretty much inspired by this outfit! The past few days, we’ve had some rather warm spring-like temperatures, and with all of the nautical goodness splashed across every store, I have been dying to go overboard with this trend!While I believe anchors and anything nautical is completely acceptable 365 days of the year, the nautical theme definitely gives off spring and summer weather vibes. Bright colors, maritime accessories; they all harken back to days spent by the lake and warm sunshine.

I found this top while going to the mall solely with the purpose of looking and not buying *HA*. Why do I always do that to myself?? When I passed by The Limited, their giant red “50% off EVERYTHING” sign was calling to me like a siren to my doom…I was too weak to not check it out. This blouse was, naturally, the first thing I noticed when I walked in, and I went straight for it…I didn’t look around, didn’t go check out the sale section, I had my eyes set on this, and after calculating the price, it had to come home with me!
I will say, though, if one top is all I purchased during the President’s Day sale, I think I did a pretty good job at controlling myself! Now let’s see how well I do with ignoring the new arrivals at J.Crew Factory…
