I had rather mixed feelings about our recent “blizzard” earlier this week. On the one hand, I was grateful for being able to sleep in a couple extra hours, but on the other hand, the gloomy wet weather makes it so difficult to have any motivation to leave my sweats!
Which is basically what I did the entire day until my husband came home (I at least got dressed for his sake, haha). Ok, so maybe the reason I got myself presentable was the fact that we needed to go grocery shopping, and I jumped at the opportunity to (finally) leave the house!
Too many snow days, girlfriend has cabin fever.
And another thing I blame on this weather?
Outfit rut.
I feel like I’m repeating some of the same things over and over and over again, I have little to no inspiration, and as I said earlier, all I want to do is snuggle in my sweatpants and blankies all day long!
Anyone else feel that way?
A task that use to take 5-10 minutes to complete, it now takes me longer to pick out an outfit and get dressed because I end up staring at my wardrobe, willing the clothes to put themselves together into an outfit (if ONLY!).
My husband walks in, “Have nothing to wear, again?”.
If only that were the case, then I’d have an excuse to go shopping 😀

Great look! How do you think your hunters fit in kid sizes? I wear a size 6, so I could technically order the kids but I've just always ordered adult because I didnt know if I thought they would hit high enough. Do you like their height? I just ordered new ones back in January so I don't need new ones now, but I definitely might next winter! haha
