Coming at you with the second edition of Workwear Wednesday, and it’s a colorful one I am a huge fan of color, and being a rather preppy gal, gingham is definitely a staple in my closet! When I saw this skirt online, a few weeks ago, I knew I had to have it!
I hope all of you had a wonderful Mother’s Day on Sunday, and got to spend time with loved ones! I had to be at church super early to for worship team rehearsal, so no breakfast in bed for me, BUT I still got to enjoy a late breakfast with M. and Lilly before the service!
You guys, I cannot believe I am 16 weeks already!! That means in four more weeks, I will be halfway through my pregnancy. *mind blown*
I am just couple weeks into my 2nd trimester, but the difference between the first and second are like night and day!
Besides having little adult conversation and being able to take unsupervised trips to the restroom, I noticed that I started missing dressing up for work. I’ve come up with a solution: one day a week, I will dress up in something other than casual attire–even if it’s just for a trip to the grocery store!
Oh t-shirt dresses; from spring to summer–through fall, and back again, they can be quite the closet staple! I’ve layered button downs underneath, cardigans and denim jackets over, with and without a belt, tights

We are so excited to announce that Baby Schoop #2 will be making his/her debut late October! Our little family will be growing by one, and we couldn’t be happier.
