Happy 2nd Day of Fall!!
I’m not going to exaggerate, yesterday was the PERFECT start to fall! Cool, but not too cold, and the sun was out all day long! Let’s just say that the first official day of fall has been highly anticipated by many in the IG (Instagram) world, and I enjoyed seeing how my friends celebrated the first day of autumn!
I went to church, cleaned house with my kitchen door open, took blog pictures and a walk with my hubby, grabbed a chai tea latte on my way in to work, and enjoyed the beautiful air with my windows rolled down. Nothing too spectacular, but I love easy going Sundays when the weather is gorgeous! 
The only thing that was missing for the first day of autumn was the changing colors of the leaves. Here in the Midwest/South, the leaves normally don’t start changing until mid-October, and only lasts a few short weeks. Two years ago, fall literally lasted a grand total of three weeks. Blah. Here’s hoping to a longer fall season, and a shorter winter!
Today is my first day substituting at the elementary school, just lunch duty and miscellaneous things, but I am super excited to see my kids that I had from my long-term assignment last year! I ended up visiting the school last Thursday, and they were SO excited to hear that I was coming back for the semester. Nothing makes me happier than when my students give me hugs and tell me they missed me! 
If you’re wondering how I looped my pearls in such a way to make this really cool looking knot, I have no idea! I had taken them off after church to do dishes, and when I picked them up off the bed, they were like this. Sorry, ladies, I wish I could tell you some magical how-to, but I’m still trying to figure this one out myself!
