BROOKS BROS. IVY LEAGUE ACCESSORIES

Ok, ok, it’s pretty safe to assume that my style is very preppy…as in, I would be very content ordering everything out of a Ralph Lauren or Brooks Brothers catalogue.

Or I could just move into their stores, ya know, because that’s totally acceptable.
Don’t get me wrong, I love a good leather jacket paired with a feminine blouse, or an oversized sweater worn with a sequin skirt…

But when it comes to what really catches my eye, there is no denying that I love the classics!
Stripes, gingham, anything nautical, bows, etc.

So when the Holy Grail of all things preppy (a.k.a. Brooks Brothers) announced their up to 80% off clearance sale, I just had to take a peak….you know, for…research purposes :D.

Let me just say that I am almost sorry I did because everything you see on this list has now been added to my must-have list for spring and summer.

And they’re all accessories.

You know how the story goes:

You put together this killer outfit, pattern mixing, layers, colors, etc., but there is just something missing that you can’t quite put your finger on….

Or, you want to jazz up your go-to just a little bit, but are unsure as to how…

Enter, accessories.

Just the right belt, shoe, pair of shades, etc., can either make (or break) an outfit!

Imagine a plain white button down and a pair of jeans….boring, mundane, ordinary, ya get the idea.
Ok, now imagine that same outfit with a colorful belt or pair of flats, and a statement necklace of scarf….
See how the little things can put a polished touch on any wardrobe basics?

Back to Brooks Brothers…I took a peek, and well, the belts and flats really caught my eye!  Like seriously, how adorable are the pink and navy gingham belts??

Or the silk tie ballet flats?
