Labor Day: Gingham Off-the-Shoulder Dress
Happy Labor Day Weekend, friends!
I hope you all have a restful/fun-packed weekend ahead of you–I will be taking it easy, probably doing some more organizing of baby stuff (I still haven’t put away our gifts from the shower last weekend!), more than likely Netflix will be involved…the usual :).
I still can’t believe it’s September already!! We’ve all been wishing summer away at this point, but one thing I’m going to miss is off-the-shoulder dresses. I know many of us fell in LOVE with this trend (not to mention ruffles!), so this is definitely a trend I’d love to keep going through the fall. What do you all think, would you like to see off-the-shoulder pieces stick around for a little while longer?
Olive Vest & Striped Popover
You know how sometimes you purchase something and then forget that it’s in your closet? I’m not sure how I overlooked this button down popover, but for some reason, it’s been sitting in my closet for the last couple of months and hasn’t been touched!

Pink Bow Blouse & Striped Skirt
No matter what season it is, pink will always be my favorite color! My recent favorite color pairing is pink with grey, but the all-time classic is pink with navy. Timeless and chic, it is my all-time favorite!
Originally, I had worn this striped nautical J.Crew skirt with a navy tank top for a clean color palette and then added these fun tasseled earrings. Buuut unfortunately, I was only able to wear that top two times before “growing out of it”, so then I had to hunt for something else to pair it with.
Pre-Fall Neutrals to Wear Now
So a lot of you saw my break-up letter with my Summer Wardrobe on Friday, and over the last couple of weeks, I’ve been pulling out a lot of my fall pieces to wear now. I’ve added this lightweight copper pullover to my rotation, and recently picked up the same shirt in navy, blush, and gray. It also comes in olive, and at $20 a piece, I might find it hard to say no!
