Happy Monday, lovelies!
I don’t know about you, but today is a bit of a let down coming from such a fun weekend! Saturday was Derby Day, and while we didn’t have the opportunity to actually attend, we did go to a picnic with some great food and friends and enjoyed watching from the comforts of a warm, (and dry!) house. Yesterday was El Cinco de Mayo, no I am not Mexican, but you don’t have to be Mexican do enjoy half-priced margaritas!!
So on to why today is a bit of a downer…It’s a Monday. It’s raining. Did I mention that the temperature has dropped about 25 degrees?? Oh, and it’s rainy. And a Monday. Just making sure we understand each other.
Oh, but wait…I just remembered that I have a new pair of mint Wellies that I have been DYING to wear (courtesy of my Shoe-Fairy) 
So I guess today really isn’t too bad…Ok, you have to realize this is my first pair of rainboots since I was four…It’s a pretty big deal to me that I now have a pair of pretty, big-girl rain boots! They are a pretty big deal to me!
And then my mind went blank….What do I wear with these??? Now, being a fashionista who would never be caught dead in a running tank top and compression pants outside the gym (cough cough), I needed an outfit that would be comfy, keep me warm, but still look put together. Guess it’s not time to put away those leggings and cardis just yet (which I am TOTALLY ok with)!
