Happy September and MIDDLE of the work week!
I hope you all had a wonderful Labor Day holiday and enjoyed your three-day weekend! M., Lilly and I hosted my family at our house for the weekend, and I cannot tell you how full my heart is! Since half of us siblings are adults and living on our own (and in two different states), spending time reconnecting takes a lot more effort and planning than it use to. But all of that planning and efforts make time together even more precious, especially since my sister and I have started our own families. My mother was in HEAVEN spending time with her grandchildren, and Lilly absolutely loved playing with her cousins :D.
I fell in love with the white-on-white and a pop of color trend, and wore it frequently over the summer. To transition this trend into fall, pair cream and white together and add pops of autumnal colors like burgundy, cognac, or emerald. Cream with white is a very classic and clean palette, and gives you freedom to have fun with your fall accessories!
So now that September has arrived and this week’s forecast is calling for cooler weather, I am so ready to start switching out some of my summer pieces for comfy fall staples like this loose-knit pullover! I’ve already worn it with denim shorts and jeans, loafers and dressy flats—It goes with just about everything. And I am quite the sucker for easy, comfy pieces!
