Well I certainly did not think I would get this far, but here I am! One week past my due date, and Baby Girl is still cozied up inside. We’ve tried just about everything in the book to induce labor, walking, bouncing on an exercise ball (I’ve bounced so much on it, that it’s starting to go flat!), spicy foods, hot baths, cinnamon stick tea….aaand nada.

Each day, I find a new level of discomfort, a new level of tired, and a new level of being over it.

But most importantly, I am so desperate to hold our baby girl!! Both M and I are so anxious and excited, we can barely sit still at night when we try to relax.

Thankfully, I’m scheduled to be induced later this week so we won’t have to wait much longer, but I would really like to go naturally. LOTS of prayers and good thoughts would be appreciated!!

So about today’s outfit…It’s another poncho :D. Last week, I finished unpacking all of my sweaters, and I realized that I’ve started a little poncho collection! #yessss Don’t be surprised if you see quite a few pop up on Instagram, like, every week, because they are probably my most favorite thing to wear in the fall and winter!

But seriously, ponchos are super flattering, as they tend to hide some of the less-than flattering aspects of our bodies, and they are oh so comfy.

I actually bought this poncho last year (it was my travel outfit to Germany!), but SheIn re-stocked it again so definitely go grab it before it sells out, again!

Another thing that will be making lots of appearances? These gorgeous burgundy over the knee boots! You all, I don’t think I have ever swooned so hard over a pair of shoes as I have with these boots. Best. Purchase. EVER.

I purchased them during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and they completely sold out, but I did find them on Amazon, AND I found a great pair of dupes for a fraction of the price here!

So while I am waiting for Baby Girl to make her grand entrance this week (this girl fashionably late, and seems to be all about building up the hype!), I am going to continue to keep myself busy. *sigh*

Maybe I’ll find some drawers to clean out….
