Today is the first day of Spring, the beginning of regrowth after a barren Winter…And how appropriate that it happens to be my first EVER post as well!! If you just happened on my blog while passing through, I hope you will stop in for a few minutes and chat. 🙂 I am super excited about this opportunity to begin blogging all the things that inspire me, and in turn will hopefully inspire you!

I started out with the turquoise embellished button down and built my wardrobe around it. I picked my pink skinny jeans to add another dimension of color (and the brightness of pink was calling to me!). To pull the turquoise top and pink jeans together, the navy pullover was added on top.
The rhinetone pave bracelet and the double link chain bracelet add some sparkle but pointing the eye back to the embellished collar. And for shoes to match? The cute navy and cognac Top Siders my sweet mother-in-law gifted me for Easter. =)

Here in the Midwest, we have had a few tantalizing dreams of Spring-like weather only to have a showers of icewater–literally–dumped on our heads. SO, to welcome with open arms the first OFFICIAL day of Spring (and to tell Winter to go into hibernation), I decided to dress in bright, cheery (and blingy!) attire. 🙂 Lunching on a fresh spring salad seemed like a pretty delish idea, too, to welcome Spring.
*Sigh*, although it was the first official day of Spring, warm weather was not in attendance for the day. The sun popped out here and there, teasing me with hopes of Spring. Not much longer!! In the meantime, while I wait for warmer weather, I will wear my bright colors and eat my bright salads in defiance of winter’s lingering presence. I am ready for a new beginning. 🙂
