Ok, let me just say that this post was truly for the sake of fashion, because I’m going to be honest with you all, taking pictures outside in 12 degree weather (below zero windchill) is not one of the things on my bucket list. My nose turned pink within seconds, and it only took two minutes for my fingers to start tingling from the cold.
Alright, Whit, you’re probably thinking, if it was so bad, then why did you take pictures?? Well, let’s just say that I am attempting to not let winter get in the way of fashion, and that neither rain, sleet or snow, will keep me from delivering your dose of inspiration.!
*Cue patriotic music*
Ok, maybe I’m being a little melodramatic….
But for serious, nothing like freezing temps and cloudy days to add a dose of drama to my day.
And did I mention that I have had a total of two coffees in the past three weeks?

I apologize for the poor quality of the pictures, but my poor husband couldn’t stand being outside for more than five minutes, and I could barely feel my fingers at two (we literally ran outside, snapped pictures for three minutes, then ran back inside).
But it was worth it, and I am already looking forward to warmer days (supposedly next week is supposed to be “highs” in the upper 30s), and I am so thankful we are not being hit with another winter storm (praying for you all on the East Coast!!).
Well, ladies, I have a hot cup of tea waiting and some blankets calling me to be one of their own.

One of my coworkers who also has a blog said that she just tells people that she doesn't do outfit posts in winter because it's too difficult.. and I'm unfortunately starting to agree! haha I'm hoping for some daylight to still be around when the hubs gets off work today to get some photos in.. I tried it twice or thrice to shoot outside..and gave up. With the frigid winters up here, it is just not possible..I wont risk getting sick for a blog.. having said that..you look adorable..love your braclet!!
