Happy Friday, lovelies!!
I received an email from J.Crew Factory yesterday announcing their 40% off sitewide sale…To a person who is on a shopping ban for sixty-eight more days (maybe I shouldn’t keep a countdown), that’s like offering free beer to a recovering alcoholic who is in rehab. Let me tell you, this week I have felt like I’m struggling up a hill when it comes to my spending ban, which by the way isn’t even a THIRD of the way over (cue tears). When this announcement arrived in my inbox, it was like adding insult to injury. Items that I have been eyeing for the past few months but just couldn’t bring myself to pay full-price are FINALLY within my budget…and this sale couldn’t come at a worse time.
SO, even though I cannot shop, I can at least share with all of you some of the summer-y pieces I have been seriously crushing on. And they’re all under $60. If you have a sudden urge to jump over to their site to shop…Don’t worry, I will still be here when you get back. 
For those of us who are in the middle of our Closet Remix Challenges, we can suffer together as we drool over my favorite picks.
First of all, that anchor print iPhone case is ONLY $11, and the bracelet is $17.50!!! Say whaaat?? And that yellow skirt…also in blue and pink….only $35.50. Yeah. The sale is that good.
So ladies, if you are doing the Closet Remix Challenge with me, I apologize for tempting you with this post. It was just too good to not share with everyone. Maybe creating some outfit inspirations on Polyvore with these items would be cathartic for me?? After all, playing dress up is just as much fun as shopping, in my opinion

I should really really join you in that shopping ban…I have to give you props though bc I don't know if I could have resisted the 50% off sale, haha (loved your line about it being like offering beer to a recovering alcoholic). J. Crew Outlet makes up probably half of my wardrobe and I'm always watching for sales. I own the anchor print top (wore it on my blog today) and ordered that pink stripe tank top (glad I jumped on it because it's already sold out) along with some basic cardis and tees in pink, spearmint, and tan, a striped summer dress, a couple scarves, and a couple tees for my hubby
