Soooo, I’m a little bit more than obsessed with this colorful skirt….First of all, it’s a Lilly skirt, and second of all….It’s about as nautical (read: under the sea) as it gets! with seahorses, shells, mermaids (yes, MERMAIDS!!), and paisley patterns, this skirt is going to be my new favorite spring and summer skirt!! I’m planning on re-wearing this outfit for a day at the horse races, maybe I’ll add a Marley Lilly monogrammed sunhat! Um, yeah, I really think that sunhat needs to happen.
I mean, seriously, even though it was 40 degrees out when we took these pics (you can see goosebumps on my arms in one of them!), it was worth it getting to break out this beauty! So while the forecast is calling for snow today (what??), I will be daydreaming about the warm weather we had this past weekend.

Running errands on the weekend when we have nice weather is basically my happy pill.. Nothing perks up my mood or energy level than sunshine and warm temperatures! I’m basically chalking up the seesawing weather to Spring trying to work out the hiccups before spring break arrives this weekend. Considering that we aren’t travelling anywhere tropical, I’m hoping that the weather next week will at least be pleasant!
Ahhhh, spring break….The joys of the teaching profession! 
Nothing special planned for next week, just a little R&R, reading, coffee dates with friends, visiting my family for a few days…just taking it easy. I had been wishing that M and I could have a getaway, but right now the thought of having to pack for a long trip is a little exhausting. As long as the weather is somewhat warm, I will be completely content with staying put!
It doesn’t take much to please me
