Happy National Vest Day, lovelies!
I have to be honest with you all, today kind of sneaked up on me, I had planned on posting about it a week in advance so you all could plan your outfits and participate with me, but my schedule got busy, and before you know it, BAM, “Hello, October!”
Oh, today is the first of October!
Um, what?
Yeah, I know, where did September go? September is such a short little month, only thirty days long, and with the start of school and pumpkin spice lattes, the whole month seemed to pass in the blink of an eye. Which is fine by me, October brings the promise of fall weather, changing leaves, and Lucky FABB!!!
SO, for National Vest Day, aka, National Herringbone Vest Day, I chose to go simple but classic with my outfit. I wanted to put together an outfit that was school appropriate, but at the same time chic and comfortable with the fluctuating temperatures.
By pairing black skinny pants with a french blue button down, the outfit automatically says business casual, and is the perfect canvas in which to add different colors. A mustard cardigan or a white blazer could easily “spice” up this outfit and still remain professional looking. You can bet I will be repeating this outfit frequently!
