If I can get through the craziness of today and tomorrow, I can finally enjoy my summer break!  For starters, I’m running on less than four hours of sleep because I stayed up sewing bow ties and watching the entire first season of The 100.

I should know better.

So the rest of my day will be filled with finishing said bow ties, planning games for a baby shower (suggestions welcome!), dropping off job resumes, wedding rehearsal and going over timeline for a client’s wedding tomorrow, and packing..

And if I have time, eat, sleep, and breathe.

I really shouldn’t complain because part of the fault is mine for procrastinating on half of these things, but the amazing summer weather has been calling me to spend my afternoons outside reading books and taking walks around town.  So really, my life has been pretty laid-back these past few days, and taking advantage of free-time has done wonders to recharge my batteries after a busy school year!  Maybe next time I won’t put off so many things until the last minute…. #liveandlearn

To run all of my errands today, I want to be comfy but still presentable so I pulled together some of my go-to, tried and true pieces and added some fun accessories to make it a bit more dressed up.  I have been completely obsessed with this anchor necklace from Leopard & Latte, it’s made quite a few appearances on Instagram, and let me tell you, it is the perfect layering necklace!  I love a good statement necklace as much as the next girl, but sometimes those statement necklaces get heavy, and in the summer heat, they are not the most comfortable accessory to wear!  Longer necklaces are the perfect alternative, and when you layer them with a scarf, you basically get the same effect as a statement necklace without the weight.  Orietta from Leopard & Leopard suggested layering the necklace with the anchor scarf, transforming my outfit into nauti perfection!
