Congrats, again, and thank you to everyone who participated!With August coming to a close but summer still hanging on, I am trying as hard as I can to sneak some of my fall wardrobe into early rotation. Mustard and cognac are two of my favorite fall colors, and when this skirt came in the mail a few weeks ago, I have been counting the days for when I could finally bring it out into the world :D.

I know that in the past several posts I’ve carried the same bag every time, but it really is the perfect fall bag! Not because it’s a Louis, but because of the different shades of brown and the top handle structure make it so versatile for any outfit. No matter how bright my outfit may be, I always feel like I’m carrying a piece of fall with me when I carry my bag.
Mustard and cognac are probably my most favorite fall colors EVER. They are so warm and bright, and literally can be paired with anything! I have been dying to pull this skirt out since it came in the mail a few weeks ago, it’s such a gorgeous goldenrod yellow! Since it’s made from lightweight material, it is the perfect skirt to wear while transitioning to fall (and while we are still having 80-90 degree weather!!).
To keep the outfit partially on the summery side, I added little pops of turquoise with my accessories (and to make my Little Mermaid band-aid fit with the rest of my outfit…no joke!). I actually really love the navy/mustard/turquoise combination; I think I’ll definitely explore this some more in the future!
