The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is officially open, and I’ve rounded up pieces that I either own already, recently purchased, or am (still) seriously considering adding to my wardrobe. LOTS of wardrobe staples that you really can’t go wrong with! You can check out this recent post to see how I’ve styled some of the pieces I currently own.
In case you’re still holding out on shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I urge you to wait no longer! Many pieces are selling out quickly, or have already sold out and won’t be restocked for quite awhile. Many of the sale items are 20%, 30%, or even 40% off their original prices, and you probably won’t see them this low again!
Below, you will see a further breakdown of the Exact Pieces I Own, Identical to What I Own, and What I’ve Recently Purchased from the sale.
Exact Pieces I Own:
Lush Tunic – This Lush tunic is a staple in my wardrobe! I ended up loving the olive color so much, that I purchased it in white! It’s definitely a piece that can be worn year-round with shorts, denim, leggings, etc. Wear it long, or knot it/tuck it in the front for a sophisticated touch. And did I mention that Nordstrom just released 4 new colors?? If you are between sizes, size down because it does run a little on the large side.
Beige Over the Knee Boots – I cannot say enough about these boots
Faux Leather Leggings – If you’re looking to amp up your usual uniform of tunic/sweater + leggings, these leggings are the perfect piece to change it up!
Identical to What I Own:
Navy Quilted Vest – This is another piece that I own that is identical to the vest linked here. My navy vest is from Zara, and it also has faux suede trim around the pockets. I do own a couple of Ralph Lauren vests, and to be honest–I prefer them to the excursion vests from J.Crew!
Plum tunic – I own an almost identical version of this tunic, and the color is definitely on-trend for Fall! This tunic comes in lots of other colors, too, including the blush tunic in the graphic above.
Navy Trench Coat – Another staple in my wardrobe is the classic trench coat. I went with a navy instead of a camel trench because navy is my favorite neutral! Spring, Summer, Fall, and yes, even warmer days in the Winter, this trench is the perfect piece to complete any look.
Cognac Crossbody Bag – You’ve probably seen my LV crossbody handbag make several appearances over the years, and it’s one of the most-used handbags I own! Any season, any outfit, the cognac crossbody bag is a definite must-have. It just so happens that this particular one is VERY budget friendly at only $30!
Navy Lace-Up Booties – I purchased an almost identical pair in Germany during our Christmas trip, and they were a fun addition to my boots rotation! Navy, as a neutral, goes with just about everything so it was a no-brainer picking up a pair of booties in that color!
What I’ve Recently Purchased:
Cashmere Poncho – this super-soft poncho in camel is just the color I need to help round out my Fall wardrobe. I can’t wait to pair it with leggings, boots, and a comfy turtleneck underneath!
White Lush tunic – this piece can be worn year-round, and I’ve recently paired it with navy shorts and bright pink handbag!
Burgundy Ankle Booties – I loved (and wore) my grey ankle booties so much, that I ended up ordering this gorgeous pair and I can’t WAIT for them to arrive! This color is another Fall staple, and I’m pretty sure I’ll be wearing them in the Winter, too.
Striped Tunic Tee – I ordered this comfy staple so I can layer it underneath sweaters and shorter blouse to wear with leggings. Unfortunately the navy and white stripes are sold out, but the olive colored shirt is also adorable!
Dark Brown Lace-Up Booties – I just purchased the dark brown color today. Last year, I purchased a pair of booties that had a thicker sole for wearing in the winter, and I LOVED them! I decided to add this pair to my because you can never have enough boots that can be worn in the snow and ice. AND at 40% off their original price, it was hard to say no. 
Burgundy crossbody handbag – I love my Louis Vuitton crossbody so much, that I decided to purchase this one to add more wine-colored tones to my wardrobe…and it’s $33. Need I say more?
