Hello, lovelies!
A week from today is the 4th of July, a time of food, fireworks, drinks, and friends (not to mention the chance to break out our American Flag tshirts….just kidding). Now is a great time to start planning the outfits, write up the appetizer menu, and creating your favorite cocktails!
Whether, you’re attending a laidback picnic, sunning yourself on the beach, or attending a brunch or barbeque, I’ve put together some inspiration on how to dress in your best patriotic colors for each of those! Of course, it wouldn’t be fitting unless the good ol’ stripes were waving as well…I mean, in attendance. 🙂
Hopefully these outfits will give you a few ideas of what you might to put together for your Independence Day plans. Lightweight materials like the cotton t-shirt or an eyelet lace dress are perfect for beating the heat. And if you plan on being our feet all day long, a cute pair of wedges or boat shoes will ensure comfort while maintaining a chic ensemble.
And did I mention I was on a hat kick lately? Besides being completely adorable, it is the perfect accessory for keeping the harmful effect of the sun’s rays at bay. Especially if you are to be outside during peak hours, make sure to grab one!
