Hello, lovelies!
I have a small confession to make….ok, maybe I have two confessions to make, but the other one will have to wait a couple of days…
You see, I kind of broke the No Shop September thing a couple of weeks ago….I bought a leather jacket.
Oops.
First of all, can we talk about this scarf?? Some of you have already seen it on Instagram and Pinterest, but let me tell you: it is THE SOFTEST scarf/blanket you will ever own. Yes, it’s huge, but I chose to wore it a little chunkier yesterday. The price is kind of high for a scarf, but when you consider how often it can be worn (or used as a blanket!), it is definitely worth the price. Oh, and in case you haven’t noticed, it’s plaid. I love plaid. Actually, I’m quite in love with plaid, so this scarf was a must.
It will certainly not be the last time you will see this scarf make an appearance!
Ok, now back to why I cheated on my No Shop September, I have a preeeetty good reason for why I cheated, I swear!
When a stylist at my boutique sells a certain amount in a transaction, she receives a $50 gift card to spend in the store, in addition to the normal discount we receive. Well, two weeks ago I had a large transaction and I got my gift card. I was so excited, my manager and I did a happy dance right there in the store! 
Anyways, for the past couple of years I had been searching for a leather jacket with quilted detailing on it, but could never find one I liked or for which I was willing to plunk down the cash. This beauty happens into our store, and for the past month, I had been drooling over it because it literally had everything I was looking for: quilting details on the shoulders and upper arms, the split v-neck collar and snaps on the cuffs, not to mention it fit me PERFECTLY. I have a difficult time finding jackets that fit me just right, they are either too boxy in the shoulders, too long in arms, etc. Sooo when I tried this on and discovered that it was perfect, I was ecstatic, and somehow, it had to be mine.
You’ve probably looked at the link for the jacket by now and some of you may be a little scared by the price. Under normal circumstances (ie., no discount or gift card), the jacket would be waaay out of my price range.
Want to know how much I ended up paying for it, when all was said and done?
$25.
Twenty-five dollars,
2-5,
two tens and a five dollar bill,
five grande chai tea lattes with a shot of hazelnut syrup at Starbucks.
A two and a five next to each other, with no other number place.
That’s the cost of the lowest price moto jacket at Forever 21!
Um, can we say best snag EVER????
And you know what else makes this jacket so special? It can literally be worn with anything, and really, in any season! A fall staple for sure, I still can’t believe the amazing deal I got with this coat!!!
So lovelies, you can expect to see lots of repeats of this outfit, or variations thereof. I am so excited the weather is cooling off, because giant soft plaid scarves are my jam, and this jacket is ready to be shown some love! AKA, these are my new favorite fall pieces. Ever.

I can totally understand why you got it, sometimes when you find something you just have to put your hands on it before you regret it! I'm really contemplating on the scarf, it looks so warm and comfy!

There is a black jacket – super similar to this one – at Zara right now that I almost picked up last weekend.. but it definitely wasn't going to be $25!! You got a deal girl!!
