Today I am playing with one of my FAVORITE color combinations for summer: Primary colors!! My second favorite combination? Neons! 😀
I think the reason why these color combinations catch our eyes is because they are so bright, cheery, and playful.
The key to wearing primary colors without looking like a walking box highlighters is to choose one or two colors as your focal point, and then bring the other color in through accessories. Adding white helps to break up the colors further, cooling them down.
The Deets:
Shirt // skirt (similar) // handbag, look for less // shoes // belt
necklace // watch // pink bangle // blue // knot bangle, look for less

For this outfit, I let the pink skirt do the talking while I kept the other colors soft and muted, again, adding the white belt to tie the pieces together.

For the date night outfit, I went a little bolder with the intensity of the colors, but this could just as easily be worn during the day. What can I say, I’m obsessed with in love with neon colors, and I love pairing them together!
