I’m not sure why I have been neglecting to wear my white jeans until this year, but they have been on heavy rotation lately! I began wearing them while there was still snow on the ground (yes, I am a HUGE proponent of wearing white after Labor Day), and these jeans are still popping up in my weekly outfit rotations.
There is something to be said about a crisp, white pair of denim, easily paired with any top or shoe, and it instantly elevates any outfit from everyday to classy-chic! Go bold with fun, bright colors, or stick with a neutral palette of black or camel…Or, be daring and try a head-to-toe all white look! A pair of white denim is understated elegance, so keeping things simple does not equate to a boring outfit. How many times has a person’s outfit caught your eye and it consisted of a white pair of pants and simple blouse?
Exactly.
The downside to wearing a pair of white pants is that they’re white–you will see EVERY stain/speck of dirt on them. The bright side is that they’re white–you can toss them in the wash with a little bleach and voile! Problem solved. 🙂
A chambray shirt with a pair of white pants has been a go-to outfit of mine for the past couple of years, and I’ve accessorized in many ways, from scarves to chunky statement necklaces, to delicate gold necklaces–the possibilities are endless. White denim has been around for, well, as long as I can remember, but this year I am seeing it worn more and more. I am declaring this year to be the year of the White Denim pant, so be sure to snag yours before they disappear this season! I don’t think they will be going out of style anytime soon, and they will always be an effortless yet classy staple in your wardrobe.
