Hey there, Friends!

Don’t mind me as I dust off the cobwebs and clean out the dust-bunnies in this corner of the internet.

It’s been a ride, lots of ups and downs the last few years, mostly good.

Much growing,

such development.

So let’s see here, what have I been up to since I was last here?? Looks like my last post was in 2023–LOL.

I no longer need to wear glasses, I got BANGS (of a sound mind, not of the midlife crisis type), I got back into working out in 2024, eating better and cut out alcohol, added a big fluffy cat to the family.

I’m still needlepointing, still singing in church choir, and slowly recovering pieces of myself, again.

I’ve been (somewhat) active over on the ‘Gram, but I’ve really neglected this space that I call my own. I’ve missed it! I’ve missed the writing, the photoshoots and photo editing, talking about fashion and clothes, putting together outfits. As someone who struggles with ADHD, my biggest struggle is staying consistent with something, even if it’s something I enjoy! So I started letting more time pass without posting, life was (is) busy enough.

Another big reason for my absence is that I told myself that fashion just wasn’t that important, during this stage in my life. I should save my time and energy for things that mattered, more.

I tried to reason that, with the world seemingly on fire, would anyone really want to read about the Coach Renaissance while they struggle to pay bills?

Bless my therapist when I expressed these thoughts to her. She kindly replied with, “Just do it! Be creative, just for the sake of being creative! Even if it was just for yourself, but ESPECIALLY if it was just for yourself! Just do it.”

Just do it.

You know how hard it is to “just do it”?? The Perfectionist in me, sensitive to rejection and criticism, was SCREAMING, internally.

Not to mention, I will procrastinate on something until just before the cows come home, and then I’ll spend 80% of my time trying to finish the details.

So here I am, listening to my therapist, and doing something I love.

Sharing my style, as a SAHM of school-aged children, and the thought process behind the outfits I put together.

I’d like to think that I have something to contribute to the fashion world, but even if not, I want to do this for me.
