Sorry for the last of posts the past couple of weeks, but it’s been one project, performance, etc. after the other since coming back from Spring Break, and my students and I are racing toward summer break!
I don’t really know where to start with this outfit, except that these shorts and shirt were a match made in heaven! The shorts were purchased at the tale end of summer last year (gotta love end of season sales!), and of course the moment this shirt was available online, I couldn’t say no! Nautical prints, once again, having their moment in fashion, which just makes it that much more difficult for me to NOT shop! You all know I can’t say no to an anchor print. Or anything remotely hinting of nauti-ness.
Another trend I am falling (more) in love with is sandal wedges. Just like pumps dress up an outfit, sandal wedges have taken plain t-shirt and shorts and elevated them (no pun intended) from errand-running to date-night status. And since they’re wedges, they are more often than not, more comfortable than pumps. Unfortunately these sandal wedges are from a couple of seasons ago, but I’ve linked to a couple pairs of nautical wedges that are on my wishlist that are SUPER cute!
